Cotecna Guatemala Participates in Swiss Innovation & Networking Day

On 3 August 2026, Cotecna Guatemala participated in the Swiss Innovation & Networking Day, organized by the Swiss-Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce at the former Residence of the Embassy of Switzerland in Guatemala.

The event brought together 11 companies and more than 300 visitors, creating a dynamic space for industry leaders, professionals, and business partners to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and explore new opportunities for collaboration. The event was also attended by Swiss Ambassador to Guatemala, Mr. Lukas Rosenkranz, who joined the opening ceremony alongside representatives of the Chamber.

Representing Cotecna Guatemala were Ricardo Rosales, Country Manager; Kimberly Olivares, Executive Assistant; Débora Elizondo, HR Specialist; and Gerson Martínez, Operations Manager. Throughout the day, the team welcomed visitors to the Cotecna booth, where they shared information about the company's services and international expertise.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation delivered by Ricardo Rosales, Guatemala Country Manager, who showcased Cotecna Guatemala's capabilities and highlighted its Non-Intrusive Inspection (NII) solutions using X-ray scanning technology. The presentation emphasized the important role these solutions play in enhancing port security and supporting safer, more efficient trade operations.

The event concluded with a networking cocktail reception, providing participants with an additional opportunity to connect and exchange ideas in a collaborative setting.
