GOEIC update: Mandatory Certificate of Conformity for textile products
Following the announcement made by GOEIC, as of 16th February 2021, a Certificate of Conformity will be required before entering Egypt:
- Furniture
- Ready-made cloths
- Carpets
- Floor covers
- Shoes
- Leather bags
As a trusted partner to the Egyptian government, our mandate covers the physical inspection, sampling and testing of goods at laboratories accredited as per ISO 17025. We can therefore accompany both export and import companies through the Certificate of Conformity process.
