Cotecna South Africa gains ISO17025 Accreditation
Cotecna South Africa’s Richards Bay laboratory has been accredited to conduct ISO/IEC 17025 chemical laboratory tests by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS).
Cotecna South Africa added its Richards Bay laboratory to the list of SANAS Accredited Testing Chemical Laboratories after being accredited by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) on 4 March 2022.
The accreditation scope granted to the Cotecna Richards Bay branch includes chemical analysis to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 under the unique accreditation number T0974. As such, Cotecna South Africa is now able to perform various chemical tests and issue ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test reports for Coal, Manganese, Iron Ore and Chrome within the SANAS scope.
Of note, this accreditation will enable Cotecna to provide fast and efficient chemical testing services to our clients in South Africa and the rest of the Southern African region.
