Cotecna Sponsors the ARSO General Assembly

Hosted by the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) on behalf of the Government of Kenya, this flagship event brings together policymakers, standards bodies, conformity assessment experts, and industry leaders from across Africa and beyond to discuss the future of quality infrastructure, trade, and standardisation on the continent.

Under this year's theme, "Standards Enabling Intra-Africa Trade under the AfCFTA - One Certificate Working for You", the event will explore how harmonised standards and conformity assessment can strengthen market access, reduce technical barriers to trade, and support the growth of intra-African commerce.

We are also honoured that Antoine Anney EMBA, Regional Director, will represent Cotecna as a panellist during the African Day of Standardisation session focused on the ARSO Conformity Assessment Programme (ACAP). The discussion will examine the strategic role of conformity assessment in strengthening Africa's quality infrastructure, facilitating trade under the AfCFTA, and promoting sustainable development across the continent.
