Cotecna Welcomes Côte d’Ivoire Delegation for Service Audit

The delegation was made up of three esteemed members:

• Kalilou SYLLA, Director General of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Trade and Industry
• Privat Paterne KOFFI, Director of DEFI (Finances) at the National Bureau of Technical Studies and Development
• Lili Eloi GAHE, Head of Department at the National Bureau of Technical Studies and Development

They started their tour at our Cotecna France office, where they were guided through our technical and operational processes.

As part of their audit, the delegation also visited one of our clients in their renowned dairy factory, where they observed firsthand the application of our services in a critical sector. Additionally, the delegation took part in a physical inspection of one of our client’s warehouses to gain insights into the operations we handle on a daily basis.

As part of the Client’s visit, Antoine ANNEY, Senior Regional Manager and also Cotecna’s Country Manager for Côte d’Ivoire, accompanied the Director General of Foreign Trade to Cotecna’s headquarters in Geneva, where they met with Sebastien DANNAUD our CEO, and Lena SÖDERGREN our Africa & VOC Vice President. These meetings provided a platform to discuss potential future collaboration and further strengthen the business ties between Cotecna and Côte d’Ivoire.

The delegation's visit was an important step in strengthening our collaboration with Côte d'Ivoire and further advancing our role as a trusted partner in the ongoing Conformity Programme.

As authorized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and SME Promotion, Cotecna is deeply committed to supporting the Ivorian government's trade objectives. The main objective of the Conformity Programme is to better protect consumers and importers from substandard, counterfeit and potentially dangerous goods.

As a reminder, Cotecna’s mandate consists in issuing Certificates of Conformity (COC) for goods complying with applicable requirements.
