Cotecna Argentina obtains ISO/IEC 17065:2012 accreditation and recognition as an RTRS Certifying Body for Soy and Corn Production

As of July 3 of this year, Cotecna Inspección Argentina S.A. received ISO/IEC 17065:2012 accreditation from the Argentine Accreditation Body (OAA) based on the RTRS Standard for the Production of Soybeans and Corn. At the same time, the company obtained official recognition as a Certifying Body by the International Responsible Soy Association (RTRS), thus moving from the pre-recognition it previously maintained to effective recognition. 

The RTRS certification of soybeans and corn ensures that production is carried out under a zero-deforestation approach, with working conditions within the legal framework, positive impact on the environment and sustainable sourcing with high levels of transparency. 

Thanks to this accreditation, Cotecna Argentina is authorized to provide RTRS Soybean and Corn Production certification services, allowing producers and companies in the sector to guarantee responsible production, promote sustainable practices, minimize environmental and social impacts, and access markets that require products certified under international sustainability standards.
