Kenya: Extension of remote inspections
The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has announced that remote inspections are to be extended for a further period of 3 months.
To tackle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, KEBS has requested to extend digital remote inspections until 31st March 2021.
Therefore, to continue protecting Kenyan citizens from substandard goods and to maintain business continuity, our remote inspection tool is made available for exporters and importers to ensure the conformity of their products throughout this crisis.
