Cotecna Accredited by SASO for the Saudi Product Safety Programme (SALEEM)

Cotecna is now in a position to assist exporters and importers with the Saudi mandatory certification services for shipments from the Middle East and North Africa region. The company can also provide Product Certificate Of Conformity (PCOC) and Shipment Certificate Of Conformity (SCOC) to importers and exporters shipping to Saudi Arabia, under the certification schemes operated by SASO.

Saleem is supported by the online registration platform SABER through which importers register the product models intended for import. The platform provides a list of accredited companies, which the importers can choose from in order to obtain a Product Certificate of Conformity and Shipment Certificate of Conformity. All shipments of regulated products going to Saudi Arabia must be accompanied by a Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCOC), which is mandatory for import clearance. Such certificates testify the compliance with the applicable products standards and Technical Regulations.
