Launch of civil works for the EPQ Non-Intrusive Inspection Project in Guatemala

On the 17th February, an inauguration event was held to mark the launch of the civil works for the Non-Intrusive Inspection Project in Guatemala.

The project, to be provided by Cotecna Inspection of Guatemala for Empresa Portuaria Quetzal (EPQ), consists of the installation, operation and maintenance of a non-intrusive scanner integrated with Coview®, Cotecna’s inspection management software which consolidates all inspection technologies deployed at local, regional or national level.

The event was attended by Jalmy Segovia, Country Manager of Cotecna Guatemala, who briefly shared the story of Cotecna and its successful non-intrusive inspection project in El Salvador. Jalmy also took the occasion to assure its partners the commitment of Cotecna Inspection of Guatemala to the success of the project.

Among the participants were David Berganza, General Manager - EPQ; Luis Alberto de León, Administrator - SAT (Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria de Guatemala) in EPQ, and Romualdo de León - OIRSA (Organismo Internacional Regional de Sanidad Agropecuaria).
