Cotecna Peru lab achieves ISO 17025 accreditation extension

Cotecna’s laboratory in Peru has achieved an ISO 17025 accreditation extension and can provide a wider range of sampling, analysis, and testing services for clients.

As part of our strategy to expand the geographic presence of our metals & minerals testing services, we are pleased to confirm that Cotecna Peru has obtained the ISO 17025 accreditation extension for its laboratory from the Peruvian Accreditation Body (INACAL).

ISO/IEC 17025 is a company level accreditation from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that focuses on standardizing the management and technical requirements for laboratory testing. As an industry standard, the ISO 17025 accreditation ensures that a laboratory is able to produce accurate and reliable test results for clients.

Cotecna Peru is now accredited to provide sampling, moisture determination, and chemical analysis services for commodities including copper, zinc, lead, silver, and gold concentrates.
