Cotecna honoured by the WCO and OTR in Togo

This year's International Customs Day (ICD) was held under the theme "A Secure Business Environment for Economic Development" and was celebrated on Friday 26 January 2018 by the OTR, as in all customs administrations around the world.

On this occasion, Cotecna was awarded by the World Customs Organization (WCO) a Certificate of Merit for outstanding service to the international customs community, signed by Mr. Kunio Mikuriya, WCO’s Secretary General.

Thus, Mr. Didier Cruz, Regional Vice-President and Managing Director of Cotecna Togo, received the award from Mr. Wolanyo Kodzo Amawuda, Director General of Budget and Finance, Ministry of Economy and Finance.

On Saturday 27 January, on the Taxpayer's Day organised by the OTR, the Cotecna Group was again honoured by the presentation of a Certificate of Recognition awarded by the OTR in recognition of the Quality of the Partnership maintained with the Office, signed respectively by Mr S-T Kodjo Adedze, Commissioner General of the OTR and Mr Sani Yaya, Minister of Economy and Finance.

This award was presented by Mr. S-T Kodjo Adedze to Mr. Didier Cruz representing Cotecna on this occasion.

These honours rightly illustrate the exceptional relationship between the OTR and Cotecna, the result of a privileged win-win partnership developed between these two institutions over the years.

This cooperation is part of a process of modernization, transparency and trade facilitation, and it is thanks to the daily commitment of every Cotecna Togo employee and also from the different entities of the Cotecna Group that these honours were awarded to us.
