The mission of the IT department is to contribute to Cotecna’s business, operations, and growth ambitions providing best-in-class services, delivering innovative solutions, and ensuring we operate in a safe and secure IT environment.
The Regional IT Delivery Manager is responsible for the delivery and operations of IT solutions in the assigned areas/regions.
Main Accountabilities:
- Lead local IT resources located in the region (double reporting line with Country Managers)
- Act as single point of contact for all IT related matters in Africa (for Contract Management, Operations, and Sales)
- Deliver IT solution(s) supporting new contracts (from IT infrastructure to integration into BI tools)
- Define, plan and deploy IT solutions such as news services, change requests… (incl. business analysis and costing)
- Ensure business continuity in the region according to agreed Service Level Agreement (all services and solutions)
- Study prospects, analyse requests for IT quotations and prepare IT input for business cases and/or technical offers
- Liaise with subcontractors or internal departments to deliver on projects, assignments and/or tasks
- Explore new opportunities and partnerships (from a technical standpoint)
- Define local staff requirements to support the business (leveraging existing resources and availabilities)
- Manage and monitor local and regional IT budgets
- Comply with IT standards in the region
- Be aware and understand business plans in the region (to anticipate future business needs/requirements)
You preferably have:
- BSc / MSc in computer science
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and in people management
- Strong experience and deep knowledge of Cotecna business, products and services
- ITIL Certification
- Strong project management skills (recognised Project Management certification is a plus)
- Strong business analysis skills (recognised Business Analysis certification is a plus)
- If possible, fair technical knowledge of database and DBMS (in particular MS SQL Server)
- Fluent in English (+major language of the region in charge)
