Business Assurance Coordinator

The Business Assurance Coordinator has overall responsibility for business development and sales within the Management Systems Certification business unit. Sales growth is achieved by driving strategic initiatives and driving accountability of certification and business assurance players, and customer programs such as key account management.

Main Accountabilities

The BA Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Identifying, developing and deploying new products/services for the Certification department (Quality , Environmental, Occupational Health Safety, Food and Feed
  • Safety, Sustainability/ISCC/ESG, 2nd Party Certification services, Trainings etc) as per agreed guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain a solid auditor’s network (FTE/freelance) to ensure a proper quality level of service with 100% compliance.
  • Reporting of key sales data (such as pipeline, revenue, forecast/prospects) to manager responsible.
  • Ensuring diligent control and record keeping of sales processes such as lead management, quoting, booking, invoicing, etc.
  • Identification, planning and execution of customer-related marketing initiatives
  • Conduct research and analysis of the market and develop go-to-market strategies ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with corporate services operations to ensure communication of sales strategy.
  • Initiate and collaborate cross selling with other LoB’s in the country/region to generate leads for Certification business line.
  • Develop strong business relationships with Affiliate/ Certification Offices (AA) to support technical and sales efforts.
  • Coordinate day to day operations within team and with customers in a timely, completed, and proper manner.
  • Collection of Customer survey and analysis.
  • Payment Collection.

Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in sales management.
  • Proven track record in selling management systems services, preferably within the TIC sector.
  • Proficiency in ISO standards and industry-specific quality standards.
  • Audit experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or OHSASA 18001 is advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of the sales lifecycle, performance management, and customer success principles.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • Familiarity with ESG (sustainability) and cybersecurity sales is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Detailed understanding of all stages of the sales lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales teams with attention to performance management
  • Excellent presentation skills, particularly with an ability to present complex sales/marketing information in a concise and understandable format
  • Attentive to detail; enthusiastic and passionate
  • CRM experience is an added advantage
  • Having Audit Experience of at least one of the standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSASA 18001
  • Experience with sustainability and cybersecurity sales is a bonus.
  • Proficient with MS Office products
