Italy, 2 September, 2009
On August 20, Cotecna Italy, one of the world’s leading international trade inspection, security
and certification companies, issued its 500th Quantity and Quality inspection certificate, in the
context of new regulations imposed by the Algerian government on imported goods, to Italian
client Filippo Nardi.
Since March 15, 2009, it is compulsory for all goods imported into Algeria to undergo preshipment
inspection in their country of origin by third party surveyors. The inspection results are
reported in a Certificate of Conformity ("Quality Control Certificate"), which is necessary for both
Customs clearance and negotiation of the shipping documents.
Present at the ceremony held at Filippo Nardi’s offices to mark the occasion, were Stefano
Guazzaroni, Director of Filippo Nardi, his assistant Mrs Valentina Dammicco, and Giuseppe
Sonzogni, Country Director of Cotecna Italy. Stephano Guazzaroni, Director of Filippo Nardi,
said,” We have been a client of Cotecna Italy since the announcement of this new regulation
and especially appreciate their professionalism, availability and rapidity in helping us develop
our specialized services.”
Cotecna Italy’s Country Director, Giuseppe Sonzogni, said, “We are proud of the continued
confidence that Filippo Nardi places in Cotecna Italy and we look forward to continuing to
contribute to the quality of their services worldwide”.
