Since May 2011, Cotecna network ISO/IEC 17020 :1998 is accredited as an inspection body of type A ("third party" inspection services) for its service of Verification of Conformity.

This accreditation has been delivered by UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) and it is specifically designed for inspection companies. It recognizes technical and management competencies of Cotecna group in this area.

An international recognition

By obtaining this Accreditation, Cotecna demonstrates its capacity and competencies to operate globally, on a large scope of goods, respecting standardized processes while focusing at the same time on its clients’ needs. Jean-Michel Caffin joined Cotecna in September 2011. He has 30 years experience in global affairs, including international trade & logistics, banking (trade & project finance) and has spent the last two decades as a senior executive/CEO in the risk management industry (notably with Intertek and Bureau Veritas) in Europe, Africa and the Americas. He is a graduate in International & Development Studies of the University of Toulouse and was further educated at Cornell, UCLA and INSEAD.

Didier Reymond joined the Cotecna Group in 2003 and has primarily been responsible for Sales and Contract Management in African countries. He previously spent over 10 years in the TIC sector during which time he held a number of overseas managerial positions. Prior to this he spent close to seven years leading national projects in collaboration with Government bodies and International Organisations.

Arlette Massey is the widow of the late Cotecna founder, Elie Georges Massey. She has actively contributed to the establishment of the Company from its beginning in 1975. She is a member and Director of the Board since November 2010 and is Chairman of the Board since March 2011.
