“TECHO – Cotecna” house building project in El Salvador
In October 2018, Cotecna El Salvador teamed up with TECHO, a Latin-American non-profit organisation that seeks to build a fair, integrated and poverty-free society. Together they built houses for people living in extreme poverty.
As part of our commitment to improving educational and housing conditions in the countries in which we operate, we are pleased to unveil our latest CSR project, which took place in El Salvador.
This project, which was carried out over 2 days, was for the benefit of families living in El Carmen Community, a slum located near the San Salvador volcano.
Over 30 Cotecna employees took part in this initiative, which resulted in great appreciation from the local community. Their team work, commitment and enthusiasm were a true reflection of the company’s core values: We act with passion, we make it happen, and we care about people.
