Yesterday evening, the Swiss-African Business Circle celebrated 5 years of existence at the Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern together with 100 members, partners and invited guests.
On that occasion Didier Reymond, Executive Vice President Contract Management Division at Cotecna said: “SABC has been instrumental in creating a conducive environment fostering exchange of experiences between Swiss and African companies and developing a powerful network through its events and business trips to the continent.”
Cotecna is one of the founding members of the Swiss-African Business Circle (SABC), a business-to-business association whose objective is to offer a unique platform for the exchange of experiences, projects and ideas between Swiss and African companies, thereby fostering partnerships and opening new business perspectives between members.
SABC, founded in March 2010, the Swiss-African Business Circle has, over the last 5 years, organized over 100 events attended by 1500 participants, 26 meetings with high-ranking Government delegations and organized business trips to Angola, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. This work will continue into the future as interest in African countries persists.
