Regional Sales Director, Institutional Division

Job Description

Location: Geneva or Dubai


Execute the sales strategy, primarily in the Middle-East & African greenfield countries, by preparing and implementing the necessary sales and marketing actions, maintaining and expanding the sales network, leading sales preparation steps, negotiating and participating to the signature of contracts.


  • Contribute to the definition of the sales strategy in MEA (e.g. target countries and opportunities)
  • Lead and implement sales and marketing actions, mainly in MEA greenfield countries
  • Get access to decision makers and influencers (lobbying), and build and maintain sales network
  • Promote Cotecna’s inspection services/products/technologies in partnership with the Product team
  • Set up and lead the task force to study clients’ requests (e.g. site study and local costs)
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial feasibility studies or financial offers
  • Initiate the Business Development Support Request (BDSR) process
  • Submit service proposals and ensure follow-up with the clients (together with Market Response Mgr)
  • Negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts with clients and/or their representatives
  • Maintain and develop customer relationship in partnership with Contract Management
  • Contribute to the innovation process collecting/expressing clients’ needs and proposing new ideas
  • Propose new services to current clients (e.g. test of new ideas and concepts)

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, marketing or related fields
  • Sound experience in Sales & Marketing (10 years of experience in technology, commodities, supply chain, logistics and/or transport companies)
  • Experience in the Custom Environment (minimum 5 years)
  • Strong experience and network with governmental organisations in the sales area
  • Proven success-track-record including business development
  • International and global exposure
