Supplier Qualification is a commercial service offered by Cotecna to evaluate the quality management and social and environmental system capabilities of suppliers and compare these with the buyer’s supply chain management strategies.

This service comprises a series of audits – technical, social and environmental – and seeks to produce a more competitive supply chain, ultimately benefiting the buyer as well as the end customers.

The Supplier Qualification service also includes a Supplier Development programme, which aims to close the gaps identified in the assessment, develop suppliers’ capabilities, monitor quality performance and improve crisis management.
