TRACERS™ is a package of services and technologies aimed at securing a port area, its exports and transit goods movements. TRACERS™ enables a pre-loading security control to be carried out on containers intended to be exported from a specific port. TRACERS™ uses the following technologies:

• non-intrusive container scanners;
• radiation (gamma and neutron) and explosive detectors;
• electronic smart seals;
• RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) / barcode reading with Portable Data Terminals;
• on-site secure IT platform for updating data including Automated Manifest System (AMS) information and scanned images;
• credentialing of employees, vendors and drivers; and
• risk management systems that targets high risk exports.
